Julian Edelman visits kids at hospital, throws pass to president
On Tuesday, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman made a surprise guest appearance at a Massachusetts General Hospital award ceremony. The former college quarterback showed off his still-strong arm by throwing a tight spiral to President Dr. Peter Slavin on stage -- you know, just in case Tom Brady, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Matt Flynn are unable to start the regular season.
In addition to tossing the pigskin to the president, Edelman also took some time to visit with some patients and their families. It's confirmed that Edelman is as good of a guy off the field as he is on it.
