Lightning delays Bucs' comeback attempt against the Rams
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were trying to pull off a stunning fourth-quarter comeback against the Los Angeles Rams at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, but a storm stalled their momentum at the worst possible time.
The Bucs trailed 37-26 after the Rams scored with 4:17 left, but Tampa Bay got back in the game when Jameis Winston found Mike Evans for a 7-yard touchdown pass with 2:24 remaining.
Los Angeles then had a third-and-11 at its own 5-yard-line with 2 minutes left when officials pulled players off the field due to lightning.
As you can see here, there was good reason to do so, and fans took shelter, too:
Winston went back to the locker room with a career-high 364 passing yards. Will he stay hot if the Bucs get the ball back?
