With Joique Bell still on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, third-year pro Theo Riddick is listed as the starting running back over second-round rookie Ameer Abdullah. Another interesting development on the offensive side of the ball is at tight end, where the Lions have listed co-starters in Brandon Pettigrew and Eric Ebron.
On defense, Tyrunn Walker and Caraun Reid are the starting defensive tackles with Haloti Ngata (hamstring) still on PUP. Tahir Whitehead got the starting nod over Kyle Van Noy at strong-side linebacker, rounding out a unit that features Stephen Tulloch in the middle and DeAndre Levy on the weak side.
Fifth-year wide receiver Jeremy Ross (a second-teamer on offense) is listed as the starting return man for both kicks and punts.
