LOOK: Lavonte David appears on Sports Illustrated cover

For those who don't believe that linebacker Lavonte David doesn't get the praise he deserves, it's safe to say that he's at least getting noticed now.

As Joe Kania of Buccaneers.com reports, one of the stars of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense has been selected as one of five players to be on original Sports Illustrated covers.

David's feature story is titled "The Art (and Math) of Tackling: Lavonte David is the League's Premier Takedown Artist" according to Kania, who also points out that the story is written by Michael McKnight.

David joins a talented group of other players who are featured, including Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Bears running back Matt Forte. The magazine release date is set for September 7.
