Mariota apparently wasn't the No. 2 player on the Bucs draft board

Well, it seems that the distance between Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota was much bigger than many assumed, at least in the front office of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Peter King from the MMQB at Sports Illustrated was the first to report that Mariota actually ranked No. 4 on the Bucs 2015 draft board. The list of the top five?

1. Jameis Winston.

2. Leonard Williams.

3. Dante Fowler.

4. Marcus Mariota.

5. Todd Gurley.

Well, that definitely makes things even more interesting than they already were. On top of that, let's not forget that the Bucs actually face the Tennessee Titans, the team who drafted Mariota, in Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season.
