For those on the outside looking in, trying to understand Marshawn Lynch can be difficult.

His run-ins with the media are well-documented, whether he chooses to remain silent or give a one-word response that is famously played over and over again.

Yet deep down inside is someone who really cares.

That much is evident with his foundation geared towards mentoring children and his involvement in the Oakland community.

So it should be no surprise that Lynch would travel to Turkey to teach the fundamentals of football and give a sit-down interview with a Turkish sports network, right?

That's exactly what he did after the Seahawks' Super Bowl XLIX loss.

As part of a group called American Football Without Barriers, Lynch joined other NFL players like Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams and Browns tight end Gary Barnidge in making the trek across the world.

“He was the first guy into it; he was the loudest guy there,” NFL fullback Erik Lorig said, via the Wall Street Journal. “He was the guy giving the electricity.”

For those that don't know him, it gave a closer look at the man they call Beast Mode.
