Minnesota's 2015 draft class got plenty of action in Week 6

The Minnesota Vikings started four rookies against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.

Fourth-round selection T.J. Clemmings, a Pitt product, has been the Vikings' starting right tackle since Phil Loadholt went down in August. Second-rounder Eric Kendricks, a former UCLA Bruin, was promoted to starting middle linebacker over the bye week.

In addition to Clemmings and Kendricks, the Vikings had two other rookies make their first career starts in Week 6. Defensive end Danielle Hunter, a third-round pick out of LSU, filled in for Everson Griffen (illness); wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a fifth-rounder out of Maryland, stepped into the starting lineup for Charles Johnson (ribs).

Cornerback Trae Waynes, the 11th-overall pick in this year's draft, even saw some time in a rotation with veteran Terence Newman.

Overall, the Vikings got valuable contributions from their rookie class. Kendricks (10 tackles, sack) and Hunter (four tackles, half-sack) helped limit the Chiefs to 10 points. Offensively, Diggs was the Minnesota's most productive player with seven catches for 129 yards.
