Ndamukong Suh steps on Russell Wilson's ankle (Video)

It’s been a while since Ndamukong Suh inflicted extracurricular bodily harm to a fellow NFL player — a streak that ended on Sunday.

Ndamukong Suh is not a nice guy. In fact, in his short NFL career he’s gained such a reputation for being a dirty player that he’s sometimes paid a heavier price for hits that he’s doled out then other players might have faced.

He’s officially lost the benefit of the doubt, but that’s old news. What has been impressive about Suh recently isn’t that he’s taken a player out, it’s that he hasn’t. Well, that streak cam to a grinding halt on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

Russell Wilson was forced out of the Seahawks Week 1 game against the Dolphins when Suh stomped on his ankle after pursuing him in the backfield. It wasn’t an aggressive stomp like we’ve seen before with Suh, but he’s learned to be more subtle.

Suh took out Wilson while pursuing him, and now we all need to figure out if he did it on purpose or not.

There will be a ton of think-pieces about Su and whether this was on purpose or not. Hell, I’ll even write one, because Suh is a guy that you can’t help but try to figure out. If you’re not trying o figure him out then you’re trolling him for being human garbage.

This is where we’re at with Suh. It’s easy to argue that if Richard Sherman does this to Ryan Tannehill, we don’t approach it with the same microscopic angle that we do with it being Suh. But he’s long past being given any benefit of any doubt.

You can’t really feel that bad for him either. Sure, this wasn’t the most aggressive thing he’s ever done. But he’s been so reckless in his career up to this point that anything he does is assumed to be malicious.
