NFL Draft 2017: Full draft order

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 12:33 a.m. ET

With the conclusion of Super Bowl LI, the order is set for the 2017 NFL Draft. Here is the complete draft order for next April’s draft.

The Cleveland Browns did their best to make sure they would select first overall this April, putting together one of the worst regular seasons in recent memory. While the Browns struggled mightily in 2016, they do select twice in the first round in April, giving them two chances to improve their roster dramatically. The Tennessee Titans will also select twice in the first round, thanks to their trade with the Los Angeles Rams prior to the 2016 NFL Draft.

While the NFL Draft seems like a long way away, teams are already getting their draft boards ready. While some times need a lot of help before being considered playoff contenders, some are only a few pieces away from earning a spot in the postseason. The NFL season is always full of surprises, and the 2016 NFL Draft showed us that a pick or two can completely turn a franchise around.

In 2016, the Dallas Cowboys used their first and fourth round selections to race out to an 11-1 record, while finishing with the best record in the NFC. In 2015, the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected quarterbacks in the first round, and have completely turned their franchises around since. In 2014, the Raiders selected Derek Carr and Khalil Mack, and have since become one of the best teams in the AFC.

Here is the complete draft order after Super Bowl 51.

The Atlanta Falcons earned the final spot in the first round thanks to their victory in Super Bowl LI. While the Falcons have never been in this spot before, they certainly don’t mind capping the first round. New England will pick at No. 31, as its incredible 2016 regular season and playoff run enabled it to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
