NFL players remember 9/11 on social media
Today marks the first Sunday of the 2016 NFL season where 13 games will be played beginning at 1 p.m. EST. Every one of those games will be played with heavy hearts as, more importantly, Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of one of the most tragic days in American history.
September 11, 2001 is a day that will always be remembered as it so greatly impacted the lives of every American. Players across the league paid tribute on social media with photos and tweets remembering events that occurred that day.
