NFL Week 1 injury roundup: Keenan Allen, Brian Cushing carted off
Chargers receiver Keenan Allen was injured during San Diego’s game against the Chiefs on Sunday.
Allen was carted off the field with a right knee injury and ruled out for the rest of the game.
Allen was one of several notable players injured during Sunday’s action.
Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was also carted off with an apparent knee injury.

Allen, who recorded 67 catches for 725 yards in just eight games last season, was emotional as he left the field.

Brian Cushing, Texans
Knee, questionable
Cushing started every game at middle linebacker for the Texans last year.
Menelik Watson, Raiders
Groin, questionable
Watson, an offensive lineman, missed all of last season after tearing his Achilles tendon.
Cordy Glenn, Bills
Ankle, will not return
Cyrus Kouandijo replaced Glenn at left tackle.
