NFL Week 14 inactives: Jordan Reed in, Julio Jones game-time decision
The early afternoon kickoffs in Week 14 of the NFL season are about to begin. Which players on the fence are active or inactive on Sunday?
The Sunday slate of the Week 14 games in the NFL are about to be under way. This is a huge part of the year for NFL teams making a playoff push and frankly for your fantasy football team. Here are the notable players that will be active or inactive on Sunday.
The biggest name that will be active will be Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed. Reed is a huge get for the Redskins passing game, as he really opens up the field for quarterback Kirk Cousins. Look for the Washington standout tight end to have a big day on the road against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
While this game won’t be under way until 4:25 p.m. ET, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones remains a game-time decision for Week 14. Jones is a must-start fantasy football player when healthy. However, he is dealing with turf toe suffered in Week 13’s home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jones remains questionable, but the Falcons seem pessimistic that he will play on Sunday versus the Los Angeles Rams.
Notable players that will be active include Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian, Eagles running back Ryan Mathews, Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews, Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones, and Lions tight end Eric Ebron.
A few of the notable players that will be inactive on Sunday include Eagles wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, Lions running back Theo Riddick, Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams, and Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory.
One should be in good shape to find suitable replacements on the waiver wire for wide receivers on Sunday. However, it could be a challenge to find replacement level running backs. So many will be out on Sunday in Week 14.
