NFL Week 7 inactives: LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles active
WIth the 1:00 PM ET games about to get underway in Week 7 of the 2016 NFL season, here are the major actives/inactives in this kickoff time slot.
Injuries are always something teams have to deal with in the NFL. Fortunately for many teams with injured offensive playmakers, there are five players that will be active in Week 7 on Sunday.
They are Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Eifert, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrell Pryor, Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
McCoy was questionable with a hamstring injury, but he will be good to go for Rex Ryan’s Bills on Sunday versus the Miami Dolphins. Through six weeks, McCoy has to be in the NFL MVP conversation for his work in the Bills backfield.
Eifert is expected to play his first game of 2016 after suffering an ankle injury in the 2015 Pro Bowl. He is a huge addition for the reeling 2-4 Bengals, but will be limited in his first game back. Pryor is dealing with an ankle injury, but should be good to go in this rivalry game for the Browns.
Kansas City has been cautious in dealing with Charles’ knee this season. He tore his ACL last season, but has been able to play somewhat for the Chiefs thus far. Despite swelling in his knee earlier in the week, Charles will play for Kansas City against the New Orleans Saints. Do expect him to play in only a limited capacity for the Chiefs.
Diggs should be back for the undefeated Vikings when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7. He missed Minnesota’s last game in Week 5 versus the Houston Texans after suffering a groin injury in Week 4. After the Vikings’ Week 6 bye, Diggs should be poised for a big return on Sunday.
