Oday Aboushi gets first team reps at guard
The New York Jets entered the offseason with plenty of needs to address on the roster. One of those needs was along the offensive line, specifically at the guard position. They addressed that need in free agency as James Carpenter left Seattle for New York.

Bowles said Willie Colon has a sore knee. That is why Aboushi got all the work with the first team at RG. #nyj

As OTAs began this week for the Jets, it appears that Oday Aboushi has become the early frontrunner to start opposite of Carpenter.
Now it is very early to claim Aboushi the definitive starter through a couple of practices in shirts and shorts. However, he did play the rest of the season after taking over for the injured Brian Winters last October and could beat out Willie Colon for the starting gig.
