Odell Beckham Jr. Injury Update: Giants Receiver Leaves with Hip Injury
New York Giants star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. left Sunday’s Week 6 game with a hip injury
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t exactly had the 2016 season he and many others were hoping for. Between his behavior on the field and a general lack of production, it’s been a lackluster year to say the least for the uber-talented wideout. Now it may get even worse given the events of the Giants Week 6 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
After fumbling early in the game that allowed the Ravens to take control, Beckham took more hits throughout the first half. Ultimately, it left the receiver hobbled and in noticeable pain. Ultimately, he was forced to go back to the locker room to be taken out and be further evaluated.
The Giants are officially calling this a hip pointer and the receiver is currently listed as questionable to return to the game against the Ravens:

Even if he hasn’t been the player that many thought he’d be this season, you can’t underestimate the value of Odell Beckham Jr. to the Giants offense. He demands so much attention that he opens up things for the likes of Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard. Oh yeah, he can also do some ridiculous things himself.
If OBJ is forced to miss the rest of this game and any more time after, it could be devastating. The Giants offense hasn’t been great with him in the lineup this season. Without him, this could get quite ugly in New York.
