Odell Beckham makes brilliant TD catch then hugs his arch-nemesis, the Giants' kicking net

After the most tumultuous week this side of a certain presidential candidate, Odell Beckham Jr. calmed down, played a fine game on Sunday Night Football and finally got on the scoreboard late Sunday night, somehow hauling in what appeared to be an Eli Manning throw-away pass and then using his Fred Astaire footwork to keep both feet in bounds (a play that was upheld on replay). Immediately after the play, Beckham, who got flak (and ridicule) for shoving a kicking net in frustration two weeks ago and losing that battle, went over to make nice, offering the inanimate object a caring hug. It was like when he and Washington's Josh Norman kissed and made up in that same week after their beef from last season when Norman was with the Panthers.

This was the scene in the Giants' loss to the Redskins in Week 3 when Beckham pushed a kicking net only to see it bounce back in his face like he was fighting a jack-in-the-box. It was the second-most humiliating part of his day minus what was under his helmet.

He's going to be just fine, especially with a new ally in his corner. Yeah, we're looking at you, kicking net. You're the real MVP.
