GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) The Green Bay Packers won't have Pro Bowl cornerback Sam Shields for Sunday's game at Oakland.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Shields, who suffered a concussion in Green Bay's last game, won't accompany the team on Friday's flight to Oakland.
The NFC North-leading Packers (9-4) expect to go with rookies Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins as well as Casey Hayward as their primary cornerbacks against the Raiders (6-7).
Randall, the team's first-round draft pick, took over for the injured Shields in the first half of Green Bay's 28-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday.
Randall didn't allow a catch by Cowboys star receiver Dez Bryant the rest of the game. Bryant's only reception, for nine yards, came early in the game with Shields on the field.
