Packers sign WR Ty Montgomery, one draft pick remains unsigned
Wide receiver Ty Montgomery, Green Bay's third-round selection out of Stanford, agreed to terms with the Packers on Wednesday, Montgomery's agent Damarius Bilbo confirmed to Tyler Dunne of the Journal Sentinel. It's a four-deal worth an undisclosed amount.
Described as a "bigger" Randall Cobb Packers scout Sam Seale, according to Lori Nickel of the Journal Sentinel, Montgomery prides himself on his versatility.
"I just have this mentality that there’s nothing I can’t do," Montgomery told the Journal Sentinel. "I whole-heartedly believe in my ability to do anything from any position. My ability to be versatile kind of sets me apart."
With Montgomery's signing, the Packers have seven of their eight draft picks under contract. Green Bay's only remaining unsigned draft pick is first-rounder Damarious Randall.
