Panthers have 2 more picks in final day of NFL draft
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) The Carolina Panthers have two more picks remaining during Saturday's final day of the NFL draft.
The Panthers, who lost to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl, have picks in the fifth and the seventh rounds.
In the first three rounds, Carolina focused on defense.
The Panthers took Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Vernon Butler with the 30th overall pick in the first round, and cornerbacks - Samford's James Bradberry and West Virginia's Daryl Worley - on Friday.
Carolina took Bradberry in the second round and traded up with the Cleveland Browns to take Worley in the third. The Panthers dealt their third- and fifth-round picks to the Browns, who also got fourth-round pick from Carolina in the deal.
