Peyton Manning decided to stop by the New York Giants facility to give his little brother Eli some tips before facing the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It’s safe to say future Hall of Famer and two-time Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning is enjoying the retired life. No more having to stay in the film room 24/7 and no more getting banged and bruised up by vicious pass rushers. Now, with so much time on his hands, what exactly is Peyton doing nowadays?

Well, of course, he’s still involved in multiple business ventures, while appearing on your television screen via commercials, but don’t be surprised if he pops up at your favorite team’s football facility either. This is exactly what happened earlier Tuesday at New York Giants practice.

Besides the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants are by far the hottest team in the NFC. Winners of six straight, the G-men are looking to make it seven when facing the desperate Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday on the road.

Considering Peyton has faced Mike Tomlin’s ball club numerous of times, including last year in the playoffs, he decided to give his little brother some key advice.

“Yeah, he gave some insight,” Eli Manning stressed. “Just some stuff that was successful; he’s played Pittsburgh a lot over the years. Played ’em last year in the playoffs. So [he] just had a few tips or ideas that may fit into our system.”

Eli elaborated on how Peyton communicates with him when he’s not at the facility.

“He’ll watch and send me a text after games,” Manning said. “There are no tips. It’s just more, ‘Good throw on this.’

“We’ll get into an exchange. He’ll ask and he’s watching it so, ‘What play was that? What were you running?’ But that, kind of, has always been the case. I think we still have great communication about what is going on.”

Despite their current winning streak, teams are still jockeying for Wild Card spots, so the Giants can’t afford to start slipping now. For their sake, hopefully, Eli is able to take what advice Peyton gave him and execute.
