PHOTO: Julian Edelman celebrates Back to the Future Day as Marty McFly
October 21, 2015 is unofficially "Back to the Future Day," as it's the day Marty McFly traveled to in "Back to the Future II." Needless to say, the Internet has had a fantastic time celebrating the long-awaited day, with New England Patriots wideout Julian Edelman being among them.
A social media guru, Edelman always shares hilarious photoshopped images of himself and others, much like his quarterback Tom Brady. To celebrate this special day, Edelman posted a photo of himself as Marty McFly, complete with a hoverboard.
Edelman's ready to go see "Jaws 19," the film in theaters in "Back to the Future II." Sadly, it doesn't exist, but a Chicago Cubs World Series might.
The Cubs won the World Series in 2015 in the film, leading some to believe they're destined to pull it off this year. Unfortunately, they're down 3-0 to the New York Mets and don't have a great chance of making the second 3-0 comeback in MLB history.
That shouldn't overshadow the brilliance of Edelman's post, though.
