Raiders continue spending spree, reach deal with CB Sean Smith
The Oakland Raiders continue to be big players in free agency, agreeing to terms with free-agent cornerback Sean Smith early Thursday morning.
The former Kansas City Chiefs star gets $40 million over four years, with $20 million guaranteed. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported the terms of the deal, which FOX Sports NFL Insider Mike Garafolo confirmed.

The deal is the third big move for the Raiders in the past 24 hours. The team also locked up offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele (reportedly for 5 years, $60M) and linebacker Bruce Irvin (4 years, $37M).
In three seasons with the Chiefs, Smith had 46 passes defensed and five interceptions.
He was a second-round draft pick by the Miami Dolphins in 2009 and spent four years with the club.
