Raiders' hot start has everyone buzzing -- except Jack Del Rio

Jack Del Rio knows his team is only two weeks removed from a season-opening blowout.

You'll excuse the Raiders head coach if he keeps a level head after back-to-back wins.

“No. No," Del Rio told reporters. "We’ve got way to much work to do."

It's far too early to crown Del Rio's young team. From Derek Carr to Khalil Mack to newcomer Amari Cooper, his most important players haven't sniffed contention yet.

Del Rio has. The nine-year head coaching veteran has made playoffs runs with the Jacksonville Jaguars and as an assistant with the Denver Broncos. He knows what it takes to contend, week-in-week-out.

“It’s a week-to-week league. Listen, we’re thrilled that we won in Week 3 and we are going to shortly here turn our attention to Week 4,” Del Rio said. "There is still a ton of work to be done."
