Raiders WR Amari Cooper thanks his mom with two incredible gifts
Oakland Raiders receiver Amari Cooper shared a heartfelt message Monday on Instagram, thanking his mother for all that she helped him with throughout the years. He did so by buying her a new car and house.

This isn’t something out of the ordinary for a professional athlete to do, but Cooper had an especially difficult upbringing in Miami. He grew up in the projects, where his family didn’t have a car, forcing his mom to walk 3 miles to work.
She would work multiple jobs and take on additional shifts to support her family, which didn’t go unnoticed by the Raiders star.
He mentioned his mother’s hard work during the Heisman Trophy ceremony a few years ago.
"It was just an example of how hard she worked, her getting off work so late or working so hard all ready," Cooper said. "She sacrificed for us. You want to know how much somebody loves you, just look at how much they sacrifice.”
