Rams defensive line as dominant as expected in Week 1
The Rams defensive line was expected to be the biggest strength for the team in 2015.
Looking at the box score, it's no surprise to see the impact those players had in Week 1.
Aaron Donald led the team with nine total tackles, including two sacks and three for loss; Robert Quinn added five tackles, plus two sacks and two for loss; Michael Brockers recorded seven tackles.
"Aaron's the most disruptive D-tackle in football; he's the best D-tackle in football," Chris Long said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "It doesn't hurt to have somebody like 'Brock' on the other side. I think sometimes he gets overshadowed, but he's a helluva a player in his own right."
All told, the Rams defensive front registered nine quarterback hits, seven tackles for loss and six sacks against the Seahawks.
For future opponents, that's a scary force to be reckoned with in 2015.
