Ranking says Packers RB Eddie Lacy should be the first pick in your fantasy draft
If you're lucky enough to own the first-overall pick in your fantasy football draft this year, there's no need to stress over your selection—pick Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy.
That's what ESPN's top-300 fantasy ranking says for the 2015 season, at least. Lacy was No. 1 on the list, after eclipsing 1,100 yards in each of his first two NFL seasons. The soon-to-be 25-year-old ball-carrier has 20 rushing touchdowns, and his influence in Green Bay's offense is swelling after catching 42 passes for 427 yards and four touchdowns in 2014.
Although his production is undeniable, Lacy being the top-ranked fantasy product may be a partial product of Green Bay's offensive efficiency overall. After all, the Packers are the only team with four players in the top 25.
Wide receiver Jordy Nelson came in at No. 16. Aaron Rodgers was the top-ranked quarterback at 20th overall, while one of his favorite targets, Randall Cobb, snuck in at No. 22.
Eight Packers, in total, made the top-300 ranking. Wide receiver Davante Adams (No. 109), Kicker Mason Crosby (No. 190), running back James Starks (No. 209) and tight end Richard Rodgers (No. 297) rounded out the group.
