Ravens enter final day of NFL draft armed with 8 picks
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) The Baltimore Ravens will be on the clock early and often during the final day of the NFL draft.
Armed with three compensatory picks and two draft choices obtained in trades Friday night, the Ravens are slated to have eight selections on Saturday.
That includes five picks in the fourth-round, which begins at noon.
General manager Ozzie Newsome says, ''It's going to be fun.''
Newsome obtained two additional picks Friday night by twice moving back in the second round. He got a fifth-rounder from Jacksonville and a fourth-round selection from Miami.
During the first two days, Newsome bolstered the offensive line by snagging Notre Dame tackle Ronnie Sanders with the sixcth overall pick.
Newsome then attempted to fortify Baltimore's pass rush. He took Boise State linebacker Kamalei Correa in the second round and BYU defensive end Bronson Kaufusi in the third.
