The New England Patriots have been active in making roster changes on Monday, releasing Matt Flynn and signing Ryan Lindley to replace him.

In addition to those two moves, the Patriots have also reportedly traded for Chicaco Bears guard Ryan Groy, according to Rand Getlin.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Patriots are sending 2015 sixth-round linebacker Matthew Wells to the Bears. The deal will not be official until Groy passes a physical.

Groy started three games for the Bears last season as an undrafted free agent out of the Wisconsin. While with the Badgers, Groy played all across the offensive line at center, guard, and left tackle.

For the Patriots, he likely won't be a starter with Bryan Stork, Josh Kline, and Ryan Wendell established as first-string interior offensive lineman with the team.
