Report: Colts bringing in Ahmad Bradshaw for visit
In search of depth behind starter Frank Gore, the Indianapolis Colts are reportedly hosting veteran running back Ahmad Bradshaw, according to a report.
Per Pro Football Talk, Indianapolis is set to bring Bradshaw in for a visit on Monday. Bradshaw played the past two seasons for the Colts, but was released in the offseason. He was suspended one game by the NFL after being charged with marijuana possession in connection with a traffic stop in Ohio in February.
In 10 games for the Colts last season, Bradshaw ran for 425 yards and two touchdowns, while catching 38 passes for 300 yards and six touchdowns. Bradshaw suffered a season-ending broken fibula in the team's Nov. 16 loss to New England.
The Colts currently have rookies Josh Robinson and Tyler Varga, along with second-year player Zurlon Tipton backing up Gore. Robinson lost a fumble in Sunday's 16-13 overtime win against the Jaguars.
