Report: Falcons draft pick's house burned down during draft

Clemson defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft on Saturday. Getting drafted is a much-needed dose of good news for Jarrett, who reportedly had half of his home burn down on Friday night.

Ross Jones of FOX Sports reports that no one was injured in the fire, but all of Jarrett's Clemson memorabilia was lost. Nearly 50 members of Jarrett's family were in attendance when the fire broke out.

Responders reached the house within 10 minutes and the entire left side was engulfed in flames. The cause is still being investigated, but the belief is that it was an electrical fire.

This is a terrible story, but thankfully no one was injured in the blaze. Our thoughts are with Jarrett and his family during what has to be a whirlwind time for them.
