Report: Joey Bosa (hamstring) to miss season opener
Rookie Joey Bosa will miss the San Diego Chargers season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring injury, general manager Tom Telesco tells XTRA 1360 Fox Sports Radio.
“Obviously, we're not optimistic right now,” he said. “It truly is a day-to-day injury. It's a minor hamstring, and our goal is to make sure it doesn't turn into something long-term.”
Bosa recently signed a four-year contract to end a long holdout before the end of training camp.

The Chargers selected Bosa with the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL draft. Bosa recorded 150 tackles, 50.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks and five forced fumbles in his three years at Ohio State.
The Chargers and Chiefs kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.
