Report: Ravens' Breshad Perriman out indefinitely after knee surgery

Ravens first-round pick Breshad Perriman's rookie season may be in jeopardy after undergoing surgery to repair a torn PCL in his right knee, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. 

Perriman, who has been sidelined since injuring his knee on the first day of training camp, returned to practice on a limited basis last Thursday, and appeared to be on track for an October return. He ran sprints during pregame warmups, but cut the workout short and was seen limping off the field. 

Speculation mounted that Perriman had a setback after missing practice on Monday, to which head coach John Harbaugh responded, “I have no idea what you're talking about," per the team's official website.

Perriman underwent arthroscopic surgery, performed by Dr. James Andrews, according to Rapoport. There is no timetable for a return, and Perriman's spot on the active roster could be in limbo.
