The Brian Hoyer free agency tour will make its next stop in Denver, according to multiple reports.

Hoyer was released by the Houston Texans on Sunday, then visited with the New York Jets Tuesday morning. He left there without a deal and now will meet with the defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

It isn't the first time the Broncos have been linked to Hoyer this offseason, but it is the first meeting. Ironically, it was Brock Osweiler's move from Denver to Houston that led to Hoyer's release. And while the Broncos have explored the possibility of a trade for San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, Mark Sanchez remains atop their depth chart and they are expected to keep shopping for more QB help.

Hoyer, 30, passed for 2,606 yards and 19 TDs in 11 games (nine starts) for the Texans last season. He spent the previous two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, throwing for 3,326 yards and 12 TDs in 2014.

The Jets are looking at an alternative at QB as they reportedly remain at an impasse with free agent Ryan Fitzpatrick.
