Reports: Laremy Tunsil's ankle injury caused by slipping in shower
The ankle injury that kept Dolphins lineman Laremy Tunsil out of Sunday’s game was caused by slipping in the shower, according to multiple reports. Miami radio host Andy Slater first reported the news.
Tunsil was a surprise inclusion on the inactive list for Sunday’s game against the Titans. He was injured when he fell in the shower at the team’s hotel Sunday morning, Slater reports. Tunsil had immediate swelling and was forced to miss the game.
Tunsil is listed as the starter at left guard but was expected to start his second straight game at left tackle due to an injury to Branden Albert.
The Dolphins drafted Tunsil with the 13th pick this year. He was projected to go as high as No. 1, but saw his draft stock plummet after his Twitter account was hacked and posted a video of him smoking marijuana from a gas mask.
