Rex Ryan is thrilled about getting it right with Harvin, Incognito

Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills caught some criticism in the offseason when they brought in Richie Incognito and Percy Harvin. Through three games, both additions have been extremely beneficial for the Bills.

Incognito is one of the top guards in the NFL and Harvin has has been solid as a secondary receiver. And with Sammy Watkins dealing with a calf injury, Harvin's role will be increased.

Ryan, of course, is happy with the moves and is glad the Bills got it right with both players.

"I do feel a great deal of pride in the fact that we got that right," Ryan said via Mike Rodak of ESPN. "You know I get that. Now it’s a little easier because I had Percy [with the Jets last season]. So I already knew what we we’re getting than maybe other guys. So that was an easy one. That was a slam dunker.

"You know Richie, you know we felt it was right. We had guys that knew Richie as well. I never had a personal thing with him before. But you could see it in his heart and everything else that this guy just wants to play football and he’s been an outstanding teammate here and obviously been a great ... really, really good player for us and yeah we’re proud that those guys are Buffalo Bills."

Both players have helped the Bills get off to a 2-1 start and have turned what was supposed to be a weak offense into a top-five group in the NFL. Add in the acquisition of Tyrod Taylor and the Bills have had a solid track record in Ryan's first offseason as the head coach in Buffalo.
