Russell Wilson agrees to be girl's godfather shortly before her death
Russell Wilson's involvement in the Seattle community is no secret.
He regularly sets aside time to visit patients in the hospital, whether he performed well on the field or not.
After a recent trip to Seattle Children's Hospital, Wilson posted a picture via his Instagram showing him and a young girl and said he had accepted the girl's wish for him to be her godfather.
A touching story, indeed.
The story, however, took a sad turn later Wednesday. The Seahawks' quarterback posted a tweet saying the young girl had passed away.

A Facebook page for Ailynn says she was 5 years old and suffered from Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
