Ryan Tannehill threw the worst pass of 2016
Ryan Tannehill has actually had a pretty solid 2016 season. He’s improved with Adam Gase as his head coach, completing a career-high 66.7 percent of his passes with a passer rating of 91.3.
If you were to watch this single play and nothing else, however, you’d think he was a lefty throwing right-handed while blindfolded – all just for fun. He attempted the worst throw of the season against the Cardinals on Sunday, with his second-and-6 pass going backward. Not just a few feet backward – it ended up 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage.
The ball seemed to slip out of his hand, which is somewhat understandable considering it’s raining in Miami. But yikes, that was ugly.
Don’t try that at home, kids.
This Ryan Tannehill pass did not go as planned... https://t.co/TbxF07nxUA
