Ryan Tannehill uses long list of adjectives to describe Dolphins loss
There are several ways to describe the Miami Dolphins' latest loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, but none will be positive. They were blown out 30-14 and dropped to 5-9 on the year, likely leading to Dan Campbell being let go during the offseason.
Ryan Tannehill is just about a sure bet to be the starter in 2016 despite struggling greatly this season. However, he's certainly not happy about the way the Dolphins are closing out the year.
"Tough. Disappointed. Frustrated. Frustrated. Upset. Mad. Angry," Tannehill said via the Palm Beach Post. "I mean, any adjective you can think of right now.
“To come out and play like that on both sides of the ball is unacceptable. It’s unacceptable in every sense of the word.”
Tannehill's right. The Dolphins were abysmal on Sunday, losing to an inferior team on the road. They didn't have much to play for given the fact that they were eliminated from playoff contention, but ending the season with consecutive losses isn't something any player or coach wants to experience.
Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like the Dolphins will struggle to close out the year on a high note. At the very least, they have to figure out their plans at running back with Lamar Miller set to be a free agent and rookie Jay Ajayi waiting in the wings. It's not a great time to be a part of the Dolphins right now.
