Schlereth: Broncos should focus on drafting offensive linemen

Denver played a risky game of musical chairs with its front five last season. So, as the team ponders about how to spend its first-round selection on Thursday, one NFL analyst and former Bronco thinks they should seek some stability on the offensive line.

"They have to make some changes to find the right fit after they had some guys struggle last year," analyst Mark Schlereth told the Denver Post. "They will find some guys who can play."

Luckily, the Broncos pick at the sweet spot for O-line talent in the first round. This draft features few blocking prospects that experts consider elite, but at No. 28, they should have their pick of instant starters who'll provide an immediate upgrade.

One such player could be Florida State's Cameron Erving (above), a former offensive tackle who shifted to center for the Seminoles last season. Selecting Erving would let Manny Ramirez play a more natural guard position and give new addition Gino Gradkowski some competition at center.
