Seahawks' Jimmy Graham comes off PUP list, returns to the field
The Seattle Seahawks received some good news Wednesday as former Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham returned to practice for the first time since his season-ending knee injury last year.
Graham, who injured his patellar tendon in Week 12 against the Steelers, is coming off his least-productive season since his rookie year, finishing with 48 catches for 605 yards and a career-low two touchdowns. He began training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Graham was one of the most lethal offensive weapons with the Saints from 2011-14, hauling in at least 85 catches each season. But his lack of blocking ability didn't mesh with the Seahawks' rush-heavy offense, limiting his effectiveness last season.
If head coach Pete Carroll can integrate Graham's pass-catching ability into the Seahawks' offense, the 29-year-old could be a significant threat. But first Seattle has to monitor Graham's progress with his knee.
