Sen'Derrick Marks: Despite win, Jags 'still have a lot of work to do'
The Jaguars head into the bye week on a happy note after snapping a four-game losing streak with Sunday's win over the Bills in London.
But despite the relief of picking up their first win since Week 2, defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks said the team has plenty to improve upon in the second half of the season.
Jacksonville squandered a 27-3 lead before quarterback Blake Bortles engineered what proved to the be the game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter.
“I think it did a lot for the morale of the team going into the bye week – for (head coach) Gus (Bradley) and for the organization,” defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks said, per the team's official website. “Fans are pissed and everybody’s irritated, so it was big for that. It was a good win, and we finished – and we’d been talking about that – but overall, we still have a lot of work to do.”
The Jaguars return from the break with a road game against the New York Jets on Nov. 8.
