The Steelers have taken their talents to South Beach in the hopes of returning to Pittsburgh with a win.

While the team goes from the beach to the stadium we’ll be looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Sunday, Oct. 16th.

The Pouncey twins have been playing football together all of their lives. Today, however, will be the first day that they’ll play in the same game on opposing teams.

ESPN’s James Walker reminds us that either brother was injured in the previous meetings making this matchup the first time they’ve played against each other.

I actually had to look that up to confirm. I couldn’t believe that they’d never actually faced each other before. Mike Pouncey bought up 79 tickets for friends and family members to come and witness the special moment for the Pouncey family.

The first time they had ever been separated was when Maurkice Pouncey left the University of Florida as a junior to declare himself eligible for the 2010 NFL Draft while Mike stayed behind and finished his senior year.

    What it is

Rookie receiver Artie Burns is just one of many players who will be making this matchup against the Dolphins their homecoming game. Burns, along with Antonio Brown and Eli Rogers sat down to talk about coming from Liberty City and making it to the NFL.

Here’s hoping all of these family ties to Miami motivate these guys to come out and outperform the home team. We don’t want them to fall into a trap down there or anything.

    Will he or won’t he?

Pittsburgh made a roster move on Saturday, promoting receiver Cobi Hamilton to the active roster from the practice squad. To make room for him, the team released cornerback Al-Hajj Shabazz. The return of Justin Gilbert from his knee injury made Shabazz dispensable.

This move also makes it seem less likely that we’ll see Sammie Coates suit up against Miami. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler suggests that the Hamilton promotion is insurance in case Coates has hand issues during pregame warmup.
