CINCINNATI (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger left Saturday night's wild-card game against Cincinnati at the beginning of the fourth quarter with right shoulder injury.

Roethlisberger landed hard on the shoulder while getting sacked by linebacker Vontaze Burfict on the final play of the third quarter. He made his way to trainers and was taken to the locker room at Paul Brown Stadium for further examination.

Roethlisberger was 13 of 24 for 189 yards with a touchdown. He missed four games earlier this season with a left knee injury.

Backup quarterback Landry Jones quickly began warming up for Pittsburgh. Jones played well at times while filling in for Roethlisberger earlier in the year.
