Steve Smith Sr. touchdown is beautiful (Video)
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco throws a beautiful touchdown pass to wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. against the Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s getting cold outside. That means playoff Joe Flacco is well on his way to becoming a reality. The Baltimore Ravens signal caller may have thrown his best touchdown pass of the season on Sunday in Week 15’s home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
On a second and 10 from the Philadelphia 34-yard line, Flacco throws one of the best pump fakes you’ll ever see to thread the needle to wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. in double coverage for an amazing 34-yard touchdown strike.

Baltimore was down 14-13 before this touchdown pass from Flacco to Smith would put the Ravens up 20-14 after the made Justin Tucker PAT. The Ravens have themselves a very interesting race in the AFC North between two arch rivals: the Pittsburgh Steelers and now the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pittsburgh trailed the Bengals 20-9 at halftime in their Week 15 game in Cincinnati. While Baltimore has the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Steelers, the Ravens are a game back of the Steelers in the AFC North race at 7-6.
These two bitter rivals will meet on the gridiron for a second time in Week 16. Flacco and Roethlisberger thrive when the temperature drops in the Rust Belt. Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton plays pretty well too historically in the second half of NFL seasons.
Baltimore will have to play outstanding football in the final three weeks to win the AFC North. Though they will have other touchdowns in the final two and a half games this season, this one from Flacco to Smith was about as good as it gets. Playoff Flacco is rising and that’s bad news for the rest of the AFC North.
