Sunday Swag: Cam Newton's Superman cleats steal the show in Week 2
"If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good."
Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders uttered those words decades ago, but they still carry weight in today's NFL.
That's why FOXSports.com is going to recognize which players have the most swag each Sunday. A few words of advice: Details are everything. Whether it's a chromed up visor or flashy footwear, you will find all of the best looks in this weekly series.
In Week 2, candidates across the league put their look on display, but these four stood out from the pack:
Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton
Newton donned his patented Superman cleats in pregame. The fourth-year quarterback might not always wear an 'S' on his chest, but at times flashes superhuman abilities.
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson
Wearing the Adidas Adizero 5-star 4.0x Kevlar edition, Peterson rumbled for 192 total yards. Custom-made cleats and a performance like that will garner attention every time.
San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen
How did the third-year product from Cal follow up his 15-reception opener? Allen threw on some highlighter yellow gloves to haul in two of four targets.
Cleveland Browns WR Travis Benjamin
Benjamin's footwear might not draw significant attention, but his 269 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns certainly will. Benjamin, who wore Hypervenom Phantom II soccer cleats, played a massive role in the Browns' first win.
