T.J. Yeldon to miss Jaguars preseason opener
A sprained left finger suffered in last week's scrimmage will keep Jacksonville rookie running back T.J. Yeldon out of Friday's preseason opener against the Pittsburgh, the team announced Thursday.
Yeldon, a 2014 second-round pick, is one of several players who will miss Friday's game. Defensive end Jared Odrick and defensive tackle Roy Miller, who are both dealing with knee issues, will sit as well.
Wide receivers Marqise Lee and Neal Sterling and cornerback Peyton Thompson, who all have hamstring injuries, are also out.
Defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks, safety James Sample and defensive end Chris Clemons, who have missed all of training camp thus far, will be unavailable as well.
Also of note, Bradley said Luke Bowanko will get the start at center, but will rotate with veteran Stefen Wisniewski.
