Tyler Lockett's preseason went as well as the Seahawks could have hoped.

The rookie flashed his speed, vision and playmaking ability on special teams and at wide receiver, confirming the team's belief why they traded four picks to select him.

ESPN polled several Seahawks teammates and many feel Lockett is ready to contribute in a big way come fall.

"He’s worked his tail off to get to this point," Doug Baldwin said of Lockett, via ESPN. "His work ethic is something that stands out to me. And I think that’s what’s going to ultimately drive him to success of being great, not only in this offense, but in this league."

K.J. Wright echoed similar sentiments.

"There’s a lot of guys that look really good, but I’m really excited to see Lockett play," Wright said via ESPN. "He’s looked tremendous this preseason -- both offense and special teams. I believe he’s going to make a lot of noise this year."

Lockett certainly turned heads against preseason competition.

Now he gets a chance to show his stuff when the games matter starting Sept. 13.
