Texans continue free-agent flurry with deal for RB Lamar Miller
The Houston Texans continue their offensive overhaul by agreeing to a four-year, $26 million deal with free-agent running back Lamar Miller.
It's been quite a Wednesday afternoon for the Houston Texans, who also struck a deal with free-agent QB Brock Osweiler.
Miller will serve as the featured back for Houston, which recently released former Pro Bowl running back Arian Foster.
The 24-year-old Miller rushed for 872 yards and eight TDs while starting all 16 games for the Miami Dolphins last season. He added 47 receptions for 397 yards and two scores. The Dolphins' fourth-round pick in 2012 has missed just one game since taking over the starting job in 2013. In his four-season career, he has 2,930 rushing yards and 19 rushing TDs, as well as 887 receiving yards and three TD catches.
