The Indianapolis Colts signed a former Houston Texans standout wide receiver earlier in the offseason. Now, the Texans may be interested in returning the favor.

According to a report from Dave Furst of WRTV-6 in Indianapolis, the Texans are among the teams to express interest in signing former Colt Reggie Wayne.

The Colts elected not to re-sign the 36-year-old over the offseason after 14 seasons with the team, but Wayne has decided he wants to play one more year.

The other teams inquiring about the six-time Pro Bowler include the New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens and Green Bay Packers.

Wayne, a first-round pick in 2001, caught 1,070 passes for 14,345 yards and 82 touchdowns during his time in Indianapolis.Last season, he had 64 receptions for 779 yards and two touchdowns.

If Wayne were to end up in Houston, it would be an ironic twist for a Texans franchise that saw longtime standout Andre Johnson sign with Indianapolis after his release in March.
