Texans troll Darrelle Revis after DeAndre Hopkins' big day
Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was aware there were questions heading into last Sunday's game against the Jets about whether he'd be able to make an impact when covered by New York Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Hopkins offered an unequivocal response with his play in the 24-17 win, catching five passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns with Revis defending him for most of the game.
After the game, Hopkins told reporters he felt the need to answer after being told all week the challenge he would face in going up against Revis, who left the game in the third quarter with a concussion.
"Yeah, of course," Hopkins said, per ESPN. "It's 'Revis Island,' as y'all say."
To make his point, Hopkins employed a snarky use of air quotes as he uttered the words "Revis Island," which promoted the Houston's social media team to have a some fun with the moment.

A nice troll job, to be sure, but after emerging with the win, it may be time for the Texans to throw Revis a bone here and move on.
